ICGLR JOURNALIST AWARD 2025

The International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) invites journalists from its Member States to participate in the ICGLR Journalist Award 2025. This annual award recognizes outstanding reporting that promotes peace, security, human rights, and regional cooperation in the Great Lakes Region.

The ICGLR Structure

The Summit held in Nairobi in 2007 established the Regional Follow-up Mechanism to facilitate the implementation of the Pact. These include the Summit of Heads of State and Government, the Regional Inter-Ministerial Committee, the Conference Secretariat, the National Coordination Mechanisms, the Collaborative Mechanism, and other specific structures or forums, as appropriate, to ensure the implementation of the Pact.
